About the designer

A. Michelle Edwards earned her Ph.D. in quantitative genetics in 1997 in the midst of raising a family and moving to Guelph, Ontario.  After completing her degree, she chose to continue working in the Academic environment helping students learn how to use Statistical computing packages effectively and in a way that reflects their experimental design.

In 2000, she started working in the Data Resource Centre in the McLaughlin Library at the University of Guelph.  Today, she is the Coordinator of the Centre and is pursuing her Masters in Library and Information Science to better understand the workings of an academic library and help her incorporate her work into the library.

Away from work and school, Michelle enjoys gardening, quilting and driving her family around town in her new Beetle Convertible.
